Keeping You Pest Free & Healthy (COVID-19)

On Monday, March 16, California Governor Gavin Newsom announced directives to address the need to slow the spread of COVID-19This Public Health Order requires residents to stay home except for essential needs. Sacramento County urges compliance with those directives.

Now is the time to do everything we can to prevent the situation from getting much worse in a matter of days or weeks. We need everyone’s cooperation to act immediately to hold back the spread of serious illnesses across the region.

As members of the Pest Control Industry, we here at Rocklin Pest Control are considered essential service providers. As such, we will continue business as usual (BAU), and carry on with our everyday work.

We have three main priorities:

  1. Protecting public health and safety.
  2. Providing continued and uninterrupted pest control services to our customers,
  3. And ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees so that they stay healthy and fully functional.

Ensuring Everybody’s Health

When we do need to go inside, we do so for the safety and protection of both our employees and clients.

Our teams will likewise observe proper social distancing as applicable (no handshakes for now!) along with our usual safety protocols. Teams will be equipped with our standard-issue shoe covers and gloves, as well as disposable respirators.

Pest Control Inside and Out

While we are focusing on proactive preventative exterior services, we can also perform interior inspections and services on a case-by-case basis, as applicable.

Other Helpful Guidelines

Please do your part in helping contain the spread of COVID-19. Stay home except for essential needs (such as buying food or taking a walk outside in the park). While it’s OK to be around family members, please observe proper social distancing (four to six feet away) when you’re out and about in public.

Essential services such as supermarkets, hospitals, gas stations, bank, pharmacies, laundromats, public transportation, city services, etc. will remain open. You can take away food from your favorite restaurants and coffee shops, but in the meantime, bars and clubs will be closed.

If you can, work from home. If you can avoid going out, please do so.

If you think you’ve got a cold or a fever, please take measures to isolate yourself. You can self-medicate with over-the-counter medicines. But if your symptoms persist—especially if you think it’s difficult for you to breathe or if you experience lethargy—call your healthcare provider, or urgent care center ahead so they can prepare to take care of you.

Remember, other emergencies are still occurring, and emergency resources must be available to address all of them, not just COVID-19. So please only call 911 when you believe you are extremely sick or their life is in imminent danger.

We’re Here For You
